Oil on Board, "Luna" 2010 This is Luna, she is a barred owl from the See North bird rescue program. When she was a baby her tree was cut down and she was the only survivor of her nest mates. She also lost an eye because of this. I painted her with her eye, however, as she would be if she was free and wild and her tree had never been destroyed.
